Fegg Hayes was a mining town known within the city of Stoke on Trent known as Chatterley Whitfield. The former colliery sites are designated scheduled Ancient Monument and a host of buildings on the site have Listed Building status.

This residential area hosts various community activities for both young and older generations.  CAFAG The Whitfield Valley Centre hosts activities including lunch clubs, art workshop classes, exercise classes and much more. Fegg Hayes Hub aim’s to enable local people and community groups to meet for learning, self-discovery, enjoyment, mutual support and participation in activities of common interest.  The Hub is a resource for all the community and we are keen to work with people from the wider community to put on new activities or one off events.

There is a sense of community with a variety social activities including historical heritage of this former colliery town.
